Well, it's September 1st and it's time to make some decisions! (about homeschool curriculum that is) I was all set to go with Sonlight, then I thought maybe I'd go with Weaver. Then we were interested in Tapestry of Grace. Then I got overwhelmed by all the book choices and thought Bob Jones was the way to go, but honestly, I hate text books, especially for young ages. Then I was back to Sonlight, then Winter's Promise. I briefly looked at My Father's World, Heart of Dakota, and Abeka, but went back to Sonlight. I have seriously been debating recently between Sonlight and Five in a Row. Now I'm leaning towards Five in a Row, with a few books from Sonlight, and a handful of items from Rainbow Resources and Christian Book.com. I do know I'll be using Singapore math for all of them, and the girls will use a Reason for Handwriting. Elijah will use handwriting without tears. I'm thinking I may also take a look at the Queen's Language Lessons and Rod and Staff for language arts before I decide though. I imagine most of my free time this week is going to be spent trying to figure out what I'm going to do because THE CLOCK IS TICKING!!!! I've scheduled us to start on September 22nd, it's time to make a darn decision!!!
